The PNG Institute of Banking & Business Management (IBBM) is seeking a motivated and skilled Database Administrator to join our dynamic IT team on a full-time basis, starting immediately.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support for database systems and operations
- Maintain the Supplier Management Portal, ensuring data accuracy and system performance
- Handle supplier and buyer queries promptly and professionally
- Collaborate on platform improvements and reporting/dashboard development
- Assist the IBBM IT team with general IT systems support
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field such as Information Systems or ICT Engineering
- Experienced in database administration, system support and IT platform management
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and CRM or supplier management systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure

The Institute of Banking and Business Management (IBBM) was established in 1965 by the Reserve Bank of Australia to provide training to the banking and finance sector in Papua New Guinea. IBBM was incorporated as an Association under the PNG Association Incorporation Act as an Association of Members. The Commercial Banks and the Central Bank became the founding members. IBBM is governed by a reputable board comprising the CEOs and Managing Directors of commercial banks, with the Governor of the Central Bank serving as Chairman. ExxonMobil PNG Ltd was granted a seat on the board in recognition of its continued support of the Institution through its partnership with the IBBM Enterprise Centre.
