IBBM is seeking a people-focused Human Resources Officer to support recruitment, employee relations and HR administration across the Institute.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and induction of new staff
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Assist with employee relations matters, performance management and disciplinary processes
- Support development and implementation of HR policies in line with employment legislation
- Coordinate staff leave, attendance and other HR administrative processes
- Assist with payroll-related administration and liaise with Finance as required
- Support training and development coordination for internal staff
- Ensure HR files and records are maintained confidentially and in compliance with company policy
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
- Sound knowledge of PNG employment legislation
- Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
- Discretion in handling confidential employee information

The Institute of Banking and Business Management (IBBM) was established in 1965 by the Reserve Bank of Australia to provide training to the banking and finance sector in Papua New Guinea. IBBM was incorporated as an Association under the PNG Association Incorporation Act as an Association of Members. The Commercial Banks and the Central Bank became the founding members. IBBM is governed by a reputable board comprising the CEOs and Managing Directors of commercial banks, with the Governor of the Central Bank serving as Chairman. ExxonMobil PNG Ltd was granted a seat on the board in recognition of its continued support of the Institution through its partnership with the IBBM Enterprise Centre.
