About the Role

Reporting to the Team Leader Generation, this position is responsible to effectively and efficiently operate Kerema Power Station to meet power output targets and satisfactorily perform mechanical and electrical repairs, maintenance and installations in a timely manner to restore power supply.

Qualifications Required

  • Grade 12 Certificate.Power Station Technician certificate.Tradesman Certificate either in Electrical or Mechanical trades.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated experience in a diesel power plant and electrical plant maintenance.Troubleshoot electrical faults, carry out maintenance and restore machines and equipment.Provide accurate breakdown reports for plant and systems.Apply occupational health and safety procedures within a powerhouse environment.

Remuneration

An attractive remuneration package is on offer and salary will be commensurate with experience and qualification by this role.
